Have you seen a White Stork somewhere in the UK?
If so, not only would we love to hear about it, but your information may provide extremely valuable data for the project.
In particular, we are interested in knowing where our individually identifiable White Storks are going.
To study them, we have given them specially designed blue coloured plastic rings, which each have a unique code on them.
An example of one of these is shown in the accompanying photo.
This will help us to understand more about the birds' movements in the breeding and non-breeding season. White storks are known to undertake long migratory journeys, and the marking of individual birds provides vital information about the amazing journeys these birds make.
Please use this form to submit your sighting records for White Storks. Try to include as much information as possible, thank you.
